Depending on your symptoms, our gastroenterologist may recommend a diagnostic test or series of tests to determine whether a digestive issue is causing your symptoms. For example, if you show signs of an upper tract problem, we may perform a gastroscopy (upper endoscopy) or a barium swallow. For a lower tract problem, we may suggest a colonoscopy (lower endoscopy) or stool tests.
